President's
Message
The
Negril Chamber of Commerce
is extremely pleased
to have attained the important
milestone of its 20th Anniversary.
There
have been several significant
achievements over the
past two decades, and we
pay tribute to the small
band of pioneers who had
the vision to create an
organization with a mission
of sustainable development,
even before this concept
was widely accepted. Many
others came to share that
vision, and put hands and
hearts together to ensure
that residents were able
to continue to enjoy their
beautiful heritage while
welcoming visitors to enjoy
the Negril experience.
We
are especially pleased with
the sterling efforts
that have been made to improve
the physical, social, and
economic environment by
implementing practical programmes
with the support of a number
of partners. Is is this
support which has made it
possible to achieve the
many successes of which
we are so proud. We express
our appreciation to these
agencies as well as to the
many persons in the local
community who have worked
with us for the improvement
of the area.
This
souvenir booklet highlights
some of our progammes over
the years and we hope that
it will illustrate the range
of our activities and the
dedication of our team.
As
we look towards the next
twenty years, we will
continue in our commitment
to have a vibrant Chamber
of Commerce dedicated to
the improvement of this
special place that is Negril.
